HeySummit is great at hosting and managing your online Events. However, it can also be used for your weekly webinars, video content and more. Essentially if you have content you want to deliver through video then HeySummit is the tool for you. We help you build a community around your content, increase signup rates, drive referrals and crucially turn your video content into a part of your long-term event marketing strategy.
A Host is someone (usually) from your team that is going to host and introduce a speaker at your summit or host a webinar. Your Host would be the one who can access the webinar account you're powering your live sessions with. Your Event supports more than one Host.
Absolutely not! It's entirely your choice. Typically if you're hosting weekly / monthly webinars then you will probably want to keep those free to increase the volume of overall registrations. On the other hand, if you are running an online summit or video content then you may want to consider a paid model. Again, this really depends on how you want to market and present your content and whether you want to make money from it.
In short, yes. HeySummit helps you build a community and traction around your webinars, summits and video content. We give you the freedom of mixing and matching the tools you already have and love. For a list of our supported video platforms you can check out our Video Integrations page.
In order for you to have the most control over your content, we allow you to use the tools you already love for hosting videos like YouTube or Vimeo - for an up-to-date list you can check out our Video Integrations page
On lower tier plans any payments we take on your behalf will be handled by HeySummit's Stripe/PayPal accounts. On the higher tier plans you would also be able to add your own Stripe or PayPal accounts to process your sales. Any payments that are processed either by you or HeySummit would still incur the payment processor fees (PayPal fees or Stripe fees). Lower tier plans will also have a HeySummit transaction fee added on top of the payment provider fees.
In HeySummit, an Event is a collection of sessions. We don't limit the number of sessions that you can have within an Event- the sky's the limit. And yes, you can definitely have concurrent sessions- just remember to check with your video provider if they support that (especially for webinars). No matter if you want to have a video-course, a webinar series (which you can provide recordings of) or a full-blown virtual conference, there's a place for your Event Marketing Strategy within HeySummit. You can always see what we define as an active event in our help-doc. Have fun creating!
